Anne Celeste Heche is an American actor who was known for her many different kinds of roles in film TV, theatre, and film. She was awarded numerous awards including the Daytime Emmy Award. Anne Celeste Heche was an American actor. She passed away on the 11th of August, 2022. There is a popular belief that Anne declined the role as Laurie Strode in John Carpenter's film Halloween in 1978, which was later cast for Jaime Lee Curtis. Carpenter says she was interested but she turned it down. Anne states that she doesn't recall being contacted or offered the part from John Carpenter. It is possible that one of her agents declined the role on her behalf, without notifying the actress. Glen Larson, who had sent her the very first draft script of a part of the TV series Battlestar Galactica from 1978, initially chose her. In the beginning, she didn't like the character because it seemed too weak. Glen invented a new role for her, with Sheba as a stronger character. The Living Legend was accepted following her reading of the original 25 pages of the script. It ran for a single season. She appeared in Joyride the 1977 film featuring Desi Arnaz Jr. Melanie Griffith Robert Carradine (son Desi Arnaz Jr. Lucille and Lucille) and with Robert Carradine. In 1987 she appeared in a co-production with Michael Moriarty and The Dark Tower.
